Vigilent Wins 2013 Defense Energy and Utility Technology Challenge

Challenge aims to increase troop safety, lower energy costs, and reduce reliance on foreign energy

(Oct.16, 2013) Vigilent®, the leading provider of dynamic cooling management™ systems, announced today that it is a winner of the 2013 Defense Energy and Utility Technology Challenge, which is collaboration of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Army National Guard, and installation and operational facilities worldwide.

The challenge is part of a U.S. Department of Defense goal to seek out innovative energy solutions that increase the safety of its troops, lower energy costs, and reduce reliance on foreign energy supplies.

The 4th annual Defense Energy Challenge (DETC) delivers top defense-targeted energy solutions matched with military testing and procurement opportunities.
